Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care under the supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse or a licensed prescriber. Maintain professional accountability for assigned patients while coordinating care across departments and safeguarding patient rights and confidentiality. Perform duties consistent with Mercy Service Standards, including frequent standing, walking, and patient lifting/turning. Requires a current Missouri LPN license, BLS certification, and LPN-IV certification. Full-time day shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, Missouri.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Current LPN license in Missouri
- Meeting all State Board of Nursing requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
- LPN-IV Certification completed prior to hire or within 3 months
