Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care under the supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) or licensed prescriber. Maintain professional accountability for assigned patients while coordinating care across departments. Adhere to state regulatory board requirements and Mercy Service Standards throughout the day shift. Perform duties consistent with patient rights and confidentiality protocols. Requires current Missouri LPN licensure, BLS certification, and LPN-IV certification. Full-time 36-hour week from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM at Mercy Hospital South.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Current LPN license in Missouri
- Meeting all State Board of Nursing requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
- LPN-IV Certification
