Job Summary
Provide patient care under the supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) or licensed provider using the nursing process. Maintain professional accountability for assigned patients while coordinating care across departments. Uphold patient rights and confidentiality of information. Complete required certifications including Basic Life Support and LPN-IV within specified timelines. Perform duties consistent with Mercy Service Standards, including frequent standing, walking, and patient lifting up to 50 lbs. Work full-time day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Current LPN license in Missouri
- Meeting all State Board of Nursing requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
- LPN-IV Certification
