Job Summary
Provide patient care under the supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) or licensed prescriber using the nursing process. Maintain professional accountability for assigned patients while coordinating care across departments. Ensure patient rights and confidentiality of information are upheld throughout the shift. Perform duties consistent with Mercy Service Standards. Requires current Missouri LPN license, BLS certification, and LPN-IV certification. Full-time day shift (7 AM–7 PM) at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Current LPN license in Missouri
- Meeting all State Board of Nursing requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
- LPN-IV Certification completed prior to hire or within 3 months
