Job Summary
Provide patient care under the supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) or licensed prescriber, utilizing the nursing process to manage assigned patients. Maintain professional accountability for care delivery, coordinate patient care across departments, and uphold patient rights and confidentiality. Perform duties consistent with Mercy Service Standards while adhering to a full-time day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Requires current Missouri LPN licensure, BLS certification, and LPN-IV certification.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Current LPN license in Missouri
- Meeting all State Board of Nursing requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
- LPN-IV Certification completed prior to hire or within 3 months
