Job Summary
LPN or RN providing in-home pediatric nursing care for an 11-year-old with seizures and VNS magnet in Windermere/Orlando area. Weekend night shifts with pay rates $30-$35/hour. Responsibilities include administering nursing care within licensure, maintaining updated clinical records, evaluating nursing service effectiveness, consulting with physicians on care plan changes, mentoring new staff during orientations, educating patients and caregivers, participating in QA/QI initiatives, completing mandatory training, and ensuring confidentiality. Requires travel to patients’ homes, 1:1 patient care, and adherence to state Nurse Practice Acts. Required Qualifications
- LPN/LVN Nursing Degree
- Unencumbered LPN/LVN License in the state of employment or Multi-State license
- 1 year of demonstrated experience
- Valid driver license with proof of insurance
- Clear background screening
- Working knowledge of Nurse Practice Acts
- Valid and current CPR card/certificate
- Hep B Screening (as applicable by state)
- TB Screening (as applicable by state)
- Ability to read and communicate in English
