Job Summary
Administer medications, render first aid, and chart all nursing duties for clients, residents, and staff. Ensure facility compliance with ICF/DD regulations, order medications, and maintain accurate controlled substance counts. Visit clients three to four times daily to monitor treatments, train residents in self-medication, provide tube feedings, and document medical records. Sterilize equipment, bandage injuries, and notify families of infectious diseases as required. Requires current Arkansas LPN or RN license, valid driver's license, and ability to drive across Arkansas. Shifts include Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Equivalent of four years in high school, plus night, trade extension, or correspondence school and/or specialized training, equal to two years of college
- Current Arkansas State License as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse License
- Current Arkansas driver's license
- Current auto liability insurance
- Physical ability to drive to various locations in Arkansas
- Ability to continuously talk or hear
- Ability to regularly stand
- Ability to regularly sit
- Ability to use hands to finger
- Ability to handle
- Ability to feel
- Ability to reach with hands and arms
- Ability to frequently walk
- Ability to occasionally taste or smell
