Job Summary
Provide in-home pediatric nursing care in patients' homes, adhering to licensure and state/national regulations. Maintain updated clinical records, evaluate effectiveness of nursing services, and consult with physicians regarding care plan alterations. Mentor and/or coach new staff during orientations; educate patients and families on care needs; participate in QAPI initiatives; attend mandatory training; ensure patient confidentiality and compliant documentation. Role requires travel to patients' homes, with shifts potentially 8, 10, or 12 hours and availability across weekdays and weekends. Requires LPN/LVN licensure, pediatric/homecare experience, CPR, Hep B and TB screening as applicable, valid driver license, background check, and ability to lift up to 35 pounds. Required Qualifications
- LPN/LVN license in the state of employment or multi-state license where recognized
- 1 year of demonstrated experience (implied pediatric/homecare preferred)
- Valid driver license with proof of insurance in applicable states
- Background screening
- CPR certification (in-person instructor-led)
- Hep B screening where required by state
- TB screening where applicable
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
- English proficiency (read/write/speak)
