Job Summary
Assess, plan, and deliver comprehensive healthcare to patients by administering medications, performing medical intakes, and managing chronic care. Respond to sick call requests, perform 14-day physicals, and check medical dressings as required. Provide patient education on health concerns and respond to medical emergencies, including life-saving measures and directing medically trained personnel. Maintain working knowledge of pharmacology and comply with all state, federal, and local laws. Work 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM shifts three days per week with an every other weekend rotation at the Putnam County Jail.
Required Qualifications
- Valid LPN or RN licensure
- Valid CPR certification
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to push, pull, reach, and bend frequently
- Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
