Job Summary
Perform physical examinations, establish medical histories, and evaluate donor suitability by assessing illness history and medications. Build rapport with donors to ensure satisfaction while providing education on general health and counseling regarding unacceptable test results. Manage donor injuries and adverse events, ensure donor and staff confidentiality, and administer the employee Hepatitis Vaccine program. Assist in employee training and maintain donor awareness regarding potential hazards. Requires current licensure as an RN, LPN, LVN, Paramedic, or EMT, plus CPR certification.
Required Qualifications
- Educated and currently certified/licensed in the state of employment and according to state requirements as a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, Licensed Vocation Nurse, Paramedic, or EMT
- HS diploma or GED
- Current CPR certification
