Job Summary
Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care in a home setting for children with autism, seizure disorders, or feeding tube needs. Monitor the child's health and safety, administer medications, and perform routine treatments while assisting with mobility, positioning, and daily care. Complete clinical documentation, communicate updates with parents, and offer comfort and emotional reassurance throughout the shift. Flexible scheduling options available, including school M-F cases.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN or LPN license (state-specific)
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Comfortable providing care for children with developmental and complex medical needs
- Dependable, patient, and attentive bedside manner
- Frequent standing and walking
- Assisting patients
- Operating medical equipment
- Bending, reaching, positioning
- Occasional patient transfers or lifting
- Exposure to healthcare environments
Desired Qualifications
- Pediatric experience preferred, not required
