Job Summary
Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care in a home setting for children with autism, seizure disorders, developmental delays, or feeding tube needs. Monitor the child's health, safety, and overall condition while administering medications, performing routine treatments, and assisting with mobility, positioning, and daily care. Operate medical equipment and complete clinical documentation and progress notes. Communicate changes, concerns, and updates with parents and the care team to support individualized care planning. Offer comfort, engagement, and emotional reassurance throughout care. Work 8 hours per day, 7 days per week, with flexible scheduling options.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN or LPN license (state-specific)
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Dependable, patient, and attentive bedside manner
- Comfortable providing care for children with developmental and complex medical needs
- Frequent standing and walking
- Assisting patients
- Operating medical equipment
- Bending, reaching, positioning
- Occasional patient transfers or lifting
- Exposure to healthcare environments
