Job Summary
Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care in a home setting for children with autism, seizure disorders, developmental delays, or feeding tube needs. Monitor the child's health, safety, and overall condition while administering medications and performing routine treatments. Assist with mobility, positioning, and daily care needs, including occasional patient transfers or lifting. Complete clinical documentation and progress notes, then communicate changes, concerns, and updates with parents and the care team. Offer comfort, engagement, and emotional reassurance throughout care. Morning, evening, and overnight shifts available.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN or LPN license (state-specific)
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Comfortable providing care for children with developmental and complex medical needs
- Dependable, patient, and attentive bedside manner
- Frequent standing and walking
- Assisting patients
- Operating medical equipment
- Bending, reaching, positioning
- Occasional patient transfers or lifting
- Exposure to healthcare environments
Desired Qualifications
- Pediatric experience preferred, not required
