Job Summary
Administer oral, topical, and injectable medications per physician orders while monitoring residents for condition changes. Perform wound care, catheter care, and ostomy treatments; obtain and document vital signs, weights, and intake/output. Implement care plans as directed by the RN and supervise CNA tasks. Communicate with residents, families, and the nursing team; document care accurately in the electronic health record. Follow infection control, safety, and facility compliance standards. Requires current Indiana LPN or RN license, BLS/CPR certification, and ability to work rotating shifts from 630 pm to 630 am.
Required Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Indiana LPN or RN license
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Long-term care or geriatric nursing experience
