Job Summary
Private duty pediatric homecare role for LPN or RN providing 1:1 in-home nursing to pediatric patients in the St. Augustine, FL area. Responsibilities include delivering licensed nursing care within the scope of practice, maintaining patient records, coordinating with physicians on care plans, mentoring new staff during orientations, educating patients and caregivers, and participating in quality assurance initiatives. The role requires travel to patients’ homes, varying shift lengths (8, 10, or 12 hours) with availability any day of the week, a valid driver's license, and state Licensure as LPN/LVN or RN. Required Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment or multi-state license where recognized
- LPN/LVN Nursing Degree
- 1 year of demonstrated experience
- Unencumbered driver license with proof of insurance
- Clear background screening
- Valid CPR with hands-on skills check
- Hep B screening where applicable
- TB screening where applicable
- Ability to travel to patients' homes
- Knowledge of Nurse Practice Acts
- English communication skills (written and verbal)
- CPR certification
- Nurse supervision contacts for referrals and documentation
- Compliance with FFHC policies and state/federal regulations
- Multistate license if applicable (ECN)
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
