Job Summary
LPN or MA - Pediatric Clinic: Provides nursing care in the Satellite Clinic setting under supervision of a Provider and Clinic LPN Supervisor. Responsibilities include administering medications per order based on patient age and condition, assisting providers with procedures, documenting in the EMR, coordinating referrals, maintaining immunization records, communicating with providers and families, and ensuring patient safety and education. Requires flexibility, initiative, teamwork, adherence to policies, and ability to function under stress; must relate to others professionally and participate in staff meetings. Provides care and support to patients and families, following guidelines for safety, infection prevention, and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Current LPN licensure in the State of Oklahoma
- Current BLS certification
- One year of clinical LPN experience
- Must possess basic computer skills to manage Internet based medical record systems
- Valid Oklahoma driver’s license in good standing
- Obtain a current or temporary Food Handler’s Permit offered by the Jackson County Health Department
- Wears identification while on duty; uses computerized punch time system correctly
- Attends continuing education in-services
- Meets dress code standards of assigned nursing unit
- Maintains confidentiality of patients’ records
