Job Summary
Conduct nursing care in the Satellite Clinic setting under provider supervision, administering medications based on patient age and clinical condition. Communicate patient status changes, symptomatology, and diagnostic results to providers while responding quickly to shifts in patient conditions. Perform technical procedures requiring manual skills, assist with patient teaching and discharge planning, and maintain accurate chart documentation in the Electronic Medical Record system. Identify and address psychosocial needs, adhere to infection prevention policies, and participate in monthly staff meetings to support performance improvement activities. Requires current Oklahoma LPN licensure, one year of clinical experience, and ability to work in a physically demanding environment involving standing, lifting, and repetitive motion.
Required Qualifications
- Current LPN licensure in the State of Oklahoma
- Current BLS certification
- One year of clinical LPN experience
- Valid Oklahoma driver's license in good standing
- Current or temporary Food Handler's Permit offered by the Jackson County Health Department
- Basic computer skills to manage Internet based medical record systems
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
- Near visual & hearing acuity

- Attends 75% of staff meetings
- Reads and initials all monthly staff meeting minutes
- Ensures confidentiality of patients' records
- Attends continuing education in-services
