Job Summary
Render direct patient care to an assigned group of patients in accordance with Northside Hospital's philosophy, policies, and procedures. Participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care under the direction of a Registered Nurse in an assigned clinical area. Work collaboratively within the Licensed Practical Nurse – Nursing Excellence Track Program to improve patient function and protect health and safety. Shift hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with no weekend or on-call requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Georgia
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support
Desired Qualifications
- One (1) year of experience as an LPN
- Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications
- Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units
