LPN (On call)

Operate pill call, provide med pass, distribute medication, and document as required by applicable policies. Under the direction of the RN on duty, obtain initial health information and assist with treatment of inmates reporting to sick call. Refer inmates to providers when appropriate, perform emergency procedures as needed, and call the physician for treatment orders. Keep equipment and work areas clean, control medications and supplies, and closely monitor potential catastrophic illnesses while maintaining security and confidentiality of medical records.
