Job Summary
LPN will work as a member of the Clinical Care Team, assisting medical providers in direct patient care and maintaining processes that result in efficient, high quality nursing and medical care. The role includes preparing patients for visits, assisting with medications, lab results and procedures, performing in-house labs and procedures (eg EKG, peak flow), vaccine administration, chart/documentation while adhering to HIPAA and center policies, plus participating in QAPI and staff meetings. Requires NY licensure as an LPN and prior nursing experience; familiarity with EMR systems and delivering compassionate, detail-oriented patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse license in New York State
- Graduate of an accredited LPN program
- One year of nursing experience preferred
- Experience with EMR systems
- Ability to work with diverse patient population
- HIPAA compliance
- Excellent attention to detail
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities
