Job Summary
Administer medications and treatments, monitor patient conditions, and respond to medical needs during 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM. Assist with sick call and chronic care clinics, perform intake screenings and health assessments, and maintain accurate documentation and medical records. Collaborate with RNs, providers, and custody staff to ensure continuity of care in a correctional healthcare setting. This rotating schedule includes every other weekend, offering consistent days off for recharging while delivering hands-on nursing with autonomy and purpose at Surry County Jail.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
