Job Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides professional nursing care for residents in assisted living under supervision, administering medications and treatments, documenting outcomes, and supporting care plans within a long-term/sub-acute care setting. The role emphasizes nursing principles, resident education, collaboration with RNs and other healthcare professionals, and ensuring health, comfort, and safety of residents. This position includes night shifts, full-time or part-time status, and shift differentials with generous benefits and opportunities such as scholarships and sponsorships.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure in state(s) of practice
- Graduated from an accredited nursing program
- Ability to perform testing and provide care per care plan
- Knowledge of resident education principles for self-care
- Ability to document resident interactions and care outcomes
- Demonstrated ability to work in interdisciplinary care teams
- Experience in long term care or sub-acute care preferred (may be stated)
- Nursing program leading to licensure as LPN
- Current licensure as a practical nurse in state(s) of practice
