Job Summary
Provide patient care under RN supervision using the nursing process, maintaining professional accountability for assigned patients. Coordinate care across departments and administer medication and treatments as permitted by state licensure. Perform duties consistent with Mercy Service Standards, including frequent standing, walking, and patient lifting. Complete LPN-IV certification prior to hire or within three months. Full-time roles offer 36 hours weekly with a sign-on bonus up to $2,000.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Must hold and maintain a current LPN license in Missouri and meet all State Board of Nursing requirements
- LPN-IV Certification completed prior to hire or within 3 months (up to 1 year based on unit requirements)
- Frequent standing and walking throughout shift
- Significant bending, stooping, and patient lifting/turning with assistance
