Job Summary
Assign staff according to policies and ensure equal distribution of duties while completing rounds to assess residents and care needs. Support teamwork by encouraging proper resident care within acceptable time frames and receiving reports from charge nurses for timely shift documentation. Manage and discipline staff as necessary, resolving performance issues constructively to promote accountability and autonomy. Implement nursing interventions, document resident/family teaching, and answer call lights to assist with activities of daily living. Maintain a safe, clean environment, coordinate facility activities, and analyze problems to initiate resolution. Complete monthly QAPI, daily nursing labor forms, and attend Team Leader and CNA meetings. Handle crisis situations promptly and professionally while maintaining working knowledge of emergency procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Current LPN in the state you will be working
Desired Qualifications
- Two years long-term care supervisory experience preferred
