Job Summary
Nurse Manager (LPN/RN) on 2nd/3rd shifts responsible for coordinating nursing services in skilled/assisted living and IL Clinic within a North Carolina community. Oversee planning, organizing, developing, and coordinating nursing activities to meet federal/state/local standards, with leadership to mentor staff and ensure quality resident care. Must hold an active NC LPN or RN license, CPR certification, and demonstrate strong English communication, decision-making, and supervisory abilities. Requires experience in hospital or skilled nursing settings, familiarity with long-term care regulations, and ability to manage programs, objectives, policies, and nursing services while ensuring sanitation and safe operations.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in NC
- Graduate of accredited RN or LPN program
- CPR certification
- Experience in hospital, skilled nursing, or related medical setting
- Training in rehabilitation and restorative nursing practices preferred
- Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly
- Leadership ability and experience coordinating nursing services
- Ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret nursing programs and policies
- Ability to supervise and mentor nursing staff
- Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures
- Attention to sanitation, order, safety in nursing units
- Must be able to make independent decisions when warranted
