Job Summary
Perform a variety of treatments including wound care, irrigations, IV therapy, tube feedings, chest tubes, and peritoneal dialysis. Administer medications as prescribed and advise patients and families regarding treatment plan changes. Provide preventative and supportive care for patients in orthopedics, cardiac, respiratory, oncology, palliative care, infections, neurology, and dermatology. Oversee the Nurse Aide team by giving direction, assignments, training, and contributing to evaluations. Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with guests and visitors. Work nights in 8-hour shifts with rotating weekends and holidays. Requires a Michigan LPN license, CPR-BLS certification, and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
Required Qualifications
- A current license to practice as an LPN Practical Nurse in Michigan
- current CPR-BLS certification
