Job Summary
Implement and evaluate patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician. Educate and communicate with patients and their families regarding primary care needs, with a focus on geriatric populations and mental health care. Perform daily procedures as part of a team of five providers and seven nursing staff. Work eight-hour day shifts from 8:00 to 5:00, Monday through Friday, with appointment times ranging from 7:50 to 4:30.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- If position requires IV therapy/management skills, graduation from a Board approved AASPN program where IV therapy is part of the curriculum or completion of an IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing
