Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct clinical care in the Sobering and Deflection Center in Portland, OR under supervision of Medical Director. Performs medical screening, clinical observation, CLIA-waived testing, and administration of approved comfort medications to ensure participant safety and stabilization, with a trauma-informed, person-centered approach to care and diversion from emergency departments and the criminal justice system.
Required Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Oregon
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Eligibility to perform CLIA-waived testing under organizational CLIA certificate
- Demonstrated knowledge of Substance use intoxication and withdrawal
- Trauma-informed and culturally responsive care
