LPN- Nights - Behavioral Health - Adult South

Job Summary
Provides direct patient care to behavioral health patients in accordance with facility policies and procedures. Responsibilities include completing admitting and shift assessments, analyzing patient data and notifying physicians of changes, participating in development and evaluation of multidisciplinary treatment plans, documenting nursing care, adhering to physicians' orders, monitoring patient and environmental safety, serving as a clinical resource for LPNs and technicians, educating patients and families, applying evidence-based nursing practices, and upholding professional nursing standards per the ANA Code of Ethics. Works night shift in a behavioral health unit and collaborates with the healthcare team to deliver age-specific care; requires active nursing licensure and BLS. No prior experience required. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in applicable state(s) or compact state
- Basic Life Support for HealthCare Providers (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association
- State RN licensing requirements for IL, MO, OK, or WI as applicable
