Job Summary
Coordinate nursing care for residents on the unit, ensuring safe and accurate medication administration, wound care, and oxygen treatments. Perform nursing assessments regarding resident health status, transcribe physician orders, and promptly notify management of status changes or staff shortages. Manage medication carts, account for narcotics, and assign nurse aides to residents based on their safety and ability.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a current state license to practice as a licensed practical nurse (LPN)
- Current CPR certification
- Demonstrates knowledge of basic nursing practice
- Interest in gerontological nursing
- Must be available for night shift
- Must be located in Osage Beach, MO
Desired Qualifications
- Additional certification in nursing specialty
- 2 years' experience in a long-term care setting
- Basic computer skills
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records
