Job Summary
Coordinate nursing care for residents on the unit, ensuring each resident has an assigned nurse aide. Provide safe and accurate medication interventions, including administering treatments per physician orders and conducting nursing assessments. Perform specific procedures such as wound care, urinary catheterization, and oxygen care while accurately accounting for narcotics and medication carts. Promptly respond to resident requests for pain intervention and document status changes to notify the physician. Prepare work assignment sheets and report staff shortages to management. Requires a current LPN license, CPR certification, and preference for two years of long-term care experience.
