Job Summary
Monitor patient health, administer basic care, and implement individualized nursing interventions within the LPN scope of practice. Collaborate with the team to address patient biopsychosocial needs, resolve complaints, and ensure physical comfort. Provide safe medication delivery, report status changes to registered nurses and doctors, and maintain accurate documentation of symptoms and progress. Role model customer service expectations while demonstrating urgency regarding patient safety. Communicate therapeutically with patients, visitors, and coworkers. Work full-time night shifts at the new 96-bed behavioral health hospital in Danville, PA, serving pediatric and adult patients.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Current LPN/LVN license
- CPR certification
- De-escalation/restraint certification
- First aid
Desired Qualifications
- One or more years' of nursing experience within clinical area of service provided by facility
