Job Summary
Prepare examination and treatment areas per clinic standards while completing patient rooming procedures including vital signs and data collection. Accurately administer and document medications, perform nursing procedures within scope, and conduct assessments and clinical interventions in collaboration with RNs. Provide patient education materials, reinforce health teaching, and complete independent nurse visits as allowed by policy. Assist with inbox management, patient referrals, and prior authorizations, while supporting onboarding and mentoring of clinical staff. Ensure accurate and concise documentation in patient records.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - South Dakota Board of Nursing or Wyoming Board of Nursing for Wyoming facilities
- Requires the ability to work assigned schedules and hours as determined by the department
- Very Heavy work - exerting over 25 pounds of force constantly (67-100% of the time), and/or more than 50 pounds frequently (34-66% of the time), and/or more than 100 pounds of force occassionally (up to 33% of the time), and/or more than 100 pounds of force seldomly to move objects
- Possible exposure to radiation and frequent exposure to contaminated needles and infectious body substances
