LPN (Neuro) - PRN - Mercy Jefferson

Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care under RN supervision for assigned patients on the Neuro/Pulmonary Stroke Unit. Coordinate care with other departments while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality. Assess COPD, respiratory failure, asthma, and pneumonia patients requiring complex interventions, including those on high-flow oxygen, BiPAP, or with tracheostomies. Collaborate with the Stroke Coordinator for Acute Stroke and TIA patients, providing frequent assessments for subtle condition changes and stroke education. Maintain professional accountability for all patient care provisions.
