LPN (Neuro) - PRN - Mercy Jefferson

Provide patient care under RN supervision on the Neuro/Pulmonary Stroke Unit, utilizing the nursing process for complex assessments of COPD, respiratory failure, asthma, and pneumonia patients. Manage acute stroke and TIA cases in coordination with the Stroke Coordinator, monitoring for subtle condition changes while providing stroke education. Maintain patient rights, confidentiality, and professional accountability for assigned patients. Requires current LPN license, Basic Life Support certification, and IV certification within one year.
