Job Summary
LPN (Neuro) on the Neuro/Pulmonary Stroke Unit provides patient care under supervision of licensed clinicians, coordinates care with other departments, and upholds patient rights and confidentiality. Unit handles COPD, respiratory failure, asthma, pneumonia; patients may require high flow oxygen, BiPAP, tracheostomies, or chest tubes. Utilizes tele-neuro services; conducts frequent assessments for acute stroke/TIA patients. 36 hours per week, nights, in Mercy Hospital Jefferson, Festus, MO. $2,000 sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Practical Nursing Degree from an accredited school
- Current LPN license in our state or can be obtained within 90 days
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association
- IV Certification within 1 year
