Job Summary
LPN – Nephrology at Stamford Health in Stamford, CT, full-time. Coordinates patient care per standards, provides staff mentorship, and serves as a resource to staff and management for problem identification and resolution. Responsibilities include reviewing schedules, greeting and preparing patients for exams, performing charting in EMR, documenting vital signs, assisting with procedures and minor treatments, providing patient and family education, scheduling tests, and ensuring supplies and room readiness. Schedule: 8:00 am–4:30 pm, Monday–Friday. $5,000 sign-on bonus offered. Qualifications include nursing school graduation, CT LPN license, BLS, strong communication and medical terminology skills, and English proficiency; 2+ years of experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Valid license as Licensed Practical Nurse in CT
- BLS Certification
- Excellent customer service / communication skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Minimum of 2 years previous experience in a similar position preferred
- Must be able to read, write and speak the English language
