Job Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides professional nursing care for residents of all ages in assisted living, under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician. Demonstrates competency within the full scope of nursing knowledge and adheres to age- and population-specific standards per care plans. Administers medications or treatments as ordered, contributes to resident assessments, documents interactions and outcomes, and supports an interdisciplinary care team. Communicates clearly, maintains confidentiality, counsels residents and families on prevention and treatment plans, and fosters self-care education. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Must have graduated from an accredited school or college of nursing program leading to licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Requires current licensure as a practical nurse in the state/states of practice.
