Job Summary
Provide professional nursing care for residents of all ages in assisted living under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. Demonstrate competency in nursing principles, perform testing to evaluate resident status, and recognize problems to recommend solutions and respond effectively to emergent situations. Ensure the health, comfort, and safety of residents by administering medications or treatments as ordered, documenting interactions and outcomes, and counseling residents and family members on prevention and treatment plans. Work effectively as a member of an interdisciplinary care team while maintaining confidentiality. Requires current licensure as a practical nurse in the state of practice with 32 weekly hours on night shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Must have graduated from an accredited school or college of nursing program leading to licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Requires current licensure as a practical nurse in the state/states of practice
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen
- An accepted offer will require a pre-employment background screening
