Job Summary
Collect and document patient information including vital signs, medications, and health risk screens. Provide clinical interventions such as drug administration and treatments as ordered by the provider. Monitor patients with chronic diseases, verify eligibility, and collaborate with the RN to coordinate care plans. Assist with phone communications, training, and ad-hoc duties while maintaining compliance with laboratory QC and narcotic counts. Requires current unrestricted NV LPN license, CPR/BLS certification, and 1+ years of primary care experience. Hourly pay ranges from $20.00 to $36.00. Full-time role in adult medicine at UnitedHealth Group's OptumCare in Las Vegas, NV, with no weekend, night, or holiday shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Current, unrestricted NV LPN license or temporary NV LPN license with the ability to obtain permanent NV LPN license upon expiration of temporary NV LPN license
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- 1+ years of clinical experience in primary care
- No weekends, nights or holidays
- Pass a drug test before beginning employment
Desired Qualifications
- Electronic medical records (EMR) experience
- Immunization and injection experience
- Charge or leadership experience
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
