Job Summary
Support the care team by collecting patient history and medical information to provide complete case documentation in hospital medical records. Assist in developing and implementing care plans as directed by the Registered Nurse or healthcare provider to serve patient needs. Ensure proper techniques and safety precautions are taken in accordance with Cone Health policies around sterile environments. Communicate health care instructions to patients and families in a clear way for the care plan. Help respond to emergencies and safety hazards by utilizing personal protective equipment and hospital precautions to avoid patient harm. This part-time day role requires a current NC LPN license, BLS certification, and completion of the Cone Health LPN Academy within four years of hire.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Diploma in Practical Nursing
- Completion of Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) within 4 years of hire
- Current LPN license in North Carolina
- BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
- Acceptance into the Cone Health LPN Academy
