Job Summary
LPN on MedSurg Ortho-Urology unit seeking a full-time day shift nurse. Responsibilities include applying the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate patient care; monitoring patient conditions; adjusting care plans; collaborating with the care team; providing safe medication administration and therapies per clinical protocols; maintaining thorough EHR documentation; and participating in quality initiatives, safety culture, and professional development. Requires effective communication, ability to float to other units within the service area as needed, and adherence to ethical standards and interdisciplinary roles. Preferred BSN credential; 1 year of clinical nursing experience; BLS required; RN licensure with state privileges as applicable.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
- Active registered nurse (RN) license with privileges to practice in North Carolina.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
