LPN

Provides direct patient care under the direction of a physician. Documents medical records, findings, and information and communicates information as needed to the appropriate staff. Demonstrates sensitivity to patient comfort and privacy. Maintains confidentiality of patient and unit care data. Graduation from a recognized Licensed Practical Nursing program and licensed as an LPN within the state of South Carolina or a compact state. Two years of LPN experience required. The applicant should have some knowledge of complex medical terminology and advanced disease processes, strong interpersonal skills, ability to delegate to appropriate personnel, ability to establish and maintain collaborative relationships both internally and externally, strong organizational skills, ability to rapidly prioritize/reprioritize, strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to work autonomously and in terms, critical-thinking skills, and ability to multi-task. Licensed as an LPN within the state of South Carolina or a compact state. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required.
