Job Summary
Provide direct patient care under physician direction; document medical records and communicate findings; maintain patient privacy and confidentiality; requires a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in South Carolina or a compact state and two years of LPN experience. Candidates should have knowledge of complex medical terminology and disease processes, strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills, the ability to delegate and collaborate with staff, and the capacity to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced clinical setting. BLS certification is required.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from a recognized Licensed Practical Nursing program
- Licensed as an LPN within the state of South Carolina or a compact state
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification
