Job Summary
Provides patient care using the nursing process under supervision of licensed personnel or a Registered Nurse. Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments on the Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit (Mercy Hospital South, 7W). Requires graduation from an accredited practical nursing program and a current Missouri LPN license; LPN-IV certification must be completed prior to hire or within 3 months. Night shift, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, part-time (24 hours/week). Sign-on bonus up to $2,000 for part-time and full-time caregivers. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, tuition support, and retirement plans for team members working 32+ hours per pay period. The unit cares for adults with diagnoses such as cellulitis, pneumonia, UTIs, chest pain, COPD exacerbations, and medically stable COVID patients; responsibilities include coordinating care and supporting telemetry monitoring.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Must hold and maintain a current LPN license in Missouri
- LPN-IV Certification completed prior to hire or within 3 months
