LPN Med Tech

LPN Medication Care Manager administers medications and treatments in a safe, organized manner, documents administration and updates in the electronic health record, and uses the Six Rights framework. Responsible for medication cart upkeep, reporting, narcotics counts with a fellow manager, and maintaining a clean Medication Room. Supports resident care by participating in Cross Over meetings, assisting with ISP development, transcribing orders, and ensuring safety and infection control. Requires collaboration with the Resident Care Director and Wellness Nurse, CPR/First Aid certifications, state/province nursing license (LPN/LVN), and ongoing training to uphold Sunrise standards. May participate in supervision of other medication care staff and contribute to team success while following Sunrise Principles of Service.
