Job Summary

Conduct direct patient care under RN supervision, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with activities of daily living. Perform focused assessments, document interventions, and educate patients on health maintenance and post-discharge care. Provide specialized support across multiple units such as emergency services, surgery, telemetry, dialysis, and labor and delivery, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and the Nurse Practice Act. Maintain accurate medical records and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated care.

Required Qualifications

  • 0-1 years of experience as an LPN in a healthcare setting
  • LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - State Licensure
  • LVN - Licensed Vocational Nurse
  • BCLS - Basic Life Support
  • Alabama: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • Alabama: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • Alabama: Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI)
  • Florida: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • Florida: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • Florida: Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
  • Indiana: CPR certification within 90 days of employment
  • Mississippi: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • Mississippi: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • Mississippi: Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
  • Mississippi: STABLE certification within 6 months of employment
