Job Summary
Perform patient assessments, reassessments, and provide age-appropriate, patient-centered care under RN supervision. Assess, manage, and educate patients on pain; monitor cardiac rhythms, dysrhythmias, and recognize changes in patient status while performing and interpreting point-of-care testing. Administer medications and IV therapy safely following established protocols, maintain accurate documentation, and communicate effectively with the care team. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve quality outcomes through mentoring and staff training. Requires current Tennessee LPN license, BLS certification, and one year of hospital experience preferred. Full-time, PRN, days, and nights shifts available.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited LPN program
- Current Tennessee LPN license
- BLS certification
- One year of hospital experience
- Ability to interpret EKGs
- Ability to interpret lab results
- Ability to interpret clinical data
- Basic computer skills
- Strong written English communication skills
- Strong verbal English communication skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Reliable attendance
