Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care for assigned Med/Surg patients under the supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse. Maintain professional accountability for patient care and coordinate care in conjunction with other departments while ensuring patient rights and confidentiality. Obtain and maintain a current LPN license within the hiring state and complete required BLS and LPN-IV certifications. Work nights as a full-time employee at Mercy Hospital Perry.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Current LPN license within the hiring state
- Meeting all State Board of Nursing requirements
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
- LPN-IV Certification previously completed or successful completion of course within 3 months of hire for LPNs in Missouri
