Job Summary
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders while following the Six Rights of Medication Administration. Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time, monitor symptoms, and report refusals or adverse reactions promptly. Conduct Service & Health Updates (SHUs), transcribe physician orders, and observe physical, emotional, or cognitive changes. Maintain medication carts, complete narcotic counts, and uphold compliance standards to prevent errors and protect resident safety. Requires an active LPN license in good standing, CPR and First Aid certification, and strong assessment skills. Sunrise Senior Living champions quality of life for all seniors.
